Organic π-Conjugated Crystalline Materials for Photonic and Electronic Applications
Organic π-conjugated materials are very interesting materials for various photonic and electronic applications including THz wave generation and detection, fluoroscence and charge transporting materials. In particular, compared to amorphous π-conjugated materials (i.e., non-crystalline materials), organic π-conjugated crystalline materials with single crystals and polycrystallines have very interesting features (e.g. high chromophore density and thermal and temporal stability). Here we present organic π-conjugated crystalline materials for THz wave generation with single crystals and electron transporting materials for perovskite solar cells with polycrystalline phase.
